I'm currently on the StoneCrabs Theatre Training Programme and I am part of The Makers Of Theatre collaboration.

These last few days has marked six weeks until our first exciting venture - The Makers Of Theatre Festival 2008. I've now realised how much work has to be done in such a short space of time!

Our focus at the moment is on letting everyone know about the festival, as well as developing the craft of directing.

The Makers Of Theatre includes nine directors, an actress and a lightening designer but everyone has other interests, which adds to their character. These include writing, singing and design. I think this will make the festival a very diverse and interesting showcase of talent.

Today we have the opportunity to work with professional actors, so look out for the rest of the group's feedback as to how that goes!
